RaiseClear and TeamRaised are two sides of the same idea: a simple, honest way for teams, clubs, and community organizations to raise money without handing a big slice of it to a middleman.
TeamRaised is built for youth sports, the teams and leagues and booster clubs that run on volunteer hours and tight budgets. RaiseClear is the same platform for everyone else, the PTAs, community groups, robotics teams, music programs, and local causes that also just need to raise a little money and get on with it. Same tools, same promise, two names so each community sees itself.
How it works
An organization signs up, connects its own account, and publishes a campaign page in a few minutes. Supporters give with a card. That is the whole loop.
The part that matters most is what happens to the money: your donations settle directly into your organization's own account. We never hold your funds, we never sit in the middle of them, and we do not touch a treasurer's cash flow. We built it that way on purpose.
What it costs
We charge a flat 2% platform fee, plus the card processing cost passed straight through from our payment processor with no markup. That is it. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no percentage that quietly climbs as you raise more. You see the exact fees before any donation is completed, and every receipt is itemized. And when a supporter wants to, they can cover those costs at checkout, so your team can keep as close to every dollar as possible.
We keep our own operation deliberately small so that this stays true. The goal is not to build something huge that skims a little from everyone. The goal is to run lean enough that the money can go where it is supposed to go.
What we are not
We are not a charity, and we are not a bank. We do not decide which causes are worthy, and we do not vouch for any organization's tax status or promise that a donation is tax-deductible; that depends on the organization and on your own situation. We give organizations the tools to raise money and give supporters a clear, safe way to give. What each organization does with the money it raises is up to that organization.
Who runs it
RaiseClear and TeamRaised are operated by Virtual Caffeine IO LLC, a small company based on Camano Island, Washington. We started this because we were on the other side of it first, as parents, coaches, and volunteers who were tired of watching fundraising fees eat into the very thing they were meant to support.
